On unBenedictine Grumbling

6 June 2008

On Thursday, it was hot: eighty-five degrees , high humidity, true Chicago summer.

And people complained.  I heard people frequently comment on the oppressiveness and unpleasantness of the heat.  The very people who bemoaned the unseasonable chill of a few weeks ago, now complained about the heat.

Now I know why Benedict so bemoaned grumbling.  It drives one up the wall.
